SB 1016 Sacramento Action
This week SB 1016 co-sponsors met with CA Governor's office, highlighting the critical importance of signing the Latine and Indigenous Disparities Reduction Act!
We gifted the Governor a ceremonial mantel with 120+ signed postcards pinned and signed by individuals from across the state, showing that WE ARE HERE and we COUNT!!

Oaxaca en Sacramento
Latino Coalition for a Healthy California staff engaged with community members in this year's Oaxaca en Sacramento hosted by Brown Issues! During our community outreach, we answered questions about the SB 1016 bill, signed postcards for the governor and celebrated our community members!

Data & Language Equity Phone Banking
Phone Banking Action Days were co-hosted by co-sponsors of SB 1016 and SB 1078. Critical data and language bills were on suspense in the Assembly Appropriations Committee. This crucial action ensured the committee prioritized data and language access to all of Californians!
